Meet the researcher: Andrea Passarella of CNR

Andrea Passarella, reseracher at the Institute of Informatics and Telematics of CNR (National Research Council), will pitch for us on December 17th at 6pm.

He will talk about social media's impact on society and specifically on social relations on Facebook. He will also present us the research studies that led to the FriendsNet project and expected results. The pitch will be in Italian. Click here for more info!

Virtual Gym: the experimentation has started!

The experimentation of the Virtual Gym project has started!

 

Currently, 40 older adults (aged 65-85), living in Trento and neighborhoods, are involved in the project. The participants will use a tablet app to stay fit and will receive guidance from a personal trainer. The experimentation will last 2 months.

All Yours desktop experimentation #2

We're looking for participants for the second desktop experimentation of All Yours! We will select candidates who own a computer with one of the following operating systems: Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Mac OS 10.4 and above, Ubuntu Linux, Debian GNU Linux, Red Hat Linux. The experimentation will start in September.

New project: FriendsNet

FriendsNet is a research project on the evolution of social networks, designed by the Institute of Informatics and Telematics of CNR (National Research Council) together with Trento RISE. The study is carried out through a Facebook application that collects anonymous data on the development of the user's network of friendsThe project is addressed to people who have moved to Trento less than two years ago, either students or workers.

All Yours Project: updates

October 11, 2013

The first phase of the desktop version experimentation is ending on Monday October 14th. Afterwards, we'll evaluate it, collecting opinions from the participants and Inria researchers will have time to fix bugs and improve the application.

Meanwhile, we're also testing internally the mobile version, which will be released on November 4th. More info coming soon!

MTL Project: we're looking for participants!

We're looking for young parents living in Trentino with children aged 0-10.
More than 80 families are already involved in the Mobile Territorial Lab (MTL) and now we've decided to let the community grow.
Knowledge of the Italian language is required for this project.

We will organize a little "game" to play using the smartphone and QR codes.
